It was Christmas time and my classmates and I decided to try out a game. We would all pick names of another person in our class to give a Christmas gift to. No one would know who gave them the present and they would have to guess.

When I picked a name, it was of another girl who’s a good friend of mine. I went online and bought what I love best, sterling silver earrings. I found a pair that was really pretty and I liked and had them delivered to my house. I wrapped the pair of sterling silver earrings and waited for the day we had planned to distribute gifts.

The day finally came and we put all our presents under the Christmas tree. As soon as my friend opened hers, she came to me and said, you gifted this to me right? I was so surprised. I asked her how she found out. She said that the sterling silver earrings gave me away. No one in our class loved silver earrings like I did. And the design was so much like the other sterling silver earrings I wore. We had a good laugh about it. I’m glad she liked her gift.
