There are some items in my wardrobe which are so dressy that only fine jewelry will do to match them. However that doesn’t mean that I don’t wear fashion jewelry. I also have clothes in my wardrobe that are fairly casual and fashion jewelry suits them perfectly.
Actually I wore fashion jewelry today. I went out with my husband to get a few things and I wore a grass green shirt, a cream knee-length cream skirt and some dressy flip-flops. None of the fine jewelry I own would have matched my outfit, which was smart but casual. It was one of those days on which only fashion jewelry will do. I knew that I had chosen the right item of fashion jewelry when I received compliments from both my husband and my step-granddaughter, both of whom told me I looked very nice. Over the years I have found that fashion jewelry is sometimes all that is needed to accent a simple outfit and make me feel that little bit more confident.
